Building Use Policy

 
Activities sponsored by organizations unrelated to CRUMC may use the CRUMC facilities providing a staff person or church member sponsors the activity. There will be a fee imposed per the following chart.  Please refer to the building use policy for further requirements and guidelines.
 


Weddings and Funeral services:

 

All arrangements and fees are separately arranged with the Pastor, and Music Director.

 

For members of CRUMC wishing to use the church facilities, there is a suggested contribution of $100.  This contribution will be used to cover janitorial services and maintenance costs associated with hosting extra activities on the church grounds.

 

The following fee schedule applies to persons and sponsored groups who are not members of CRUMC:

Room Fees:

 1.      Sanctuary (includes Narthex)

         Up to 250 people - $300; $50 per hour after 3 hours (main floor only)

        2.     Fellowship Hall

                   Up to 175 people - $100; $25 per hour after 3 hours

        3.     Narthex - $50; $15 per hour after 3 hours

        4.     Choir Rehearsal Room - $50; $15 per hour after 3 hours (approval required by the Music Director)

 

        5.     Library -- $75; $15 per hour after 3 hours        

 

        6.     Classrooms - $20; $15 per hour after 3 hours

*The above fees are for the normal usage of the room with no changes requested to the normal table/chair arrangement.  The above fees do not include any equipment, technicians, etc.  No food or drink allowed in the Sanctuary (no exceptions) or Narthex, unless approved by the Church Council.

 

Support Fees:

 

1.     Custodial Assistance - $50; $20 per hour after 2 hours

2.     Lighting Technician - $40 per hour — minimum 2 hours

3.     Sound Technician - $40 per hour — minimum 2 hours

4.     Childcare - $18 per hour per sitter— minimum two sitters for 3 hours — must comply with CRUMC Safe Sanctuary Document

Equipment Use/Set-Up

1.     Organ - $100 per session — tuning will be extra charge (approval required by the Music Director)

2.     Piano - $75 per session — tuning will be extra charge (approval required by the Music Director)

3.     Repositioning piano - $125

4.     Repositioning of furniture requires prior approval and fees to be negotiated.

      5.     Standing choral riser set-up on chancel $25 per section

6.        Projectors -$20 per hour plus technician

7.        Dumpster charge - $30

Note: Organ console is not moveable and piano can only be moved to the side upon approval.
