Making Disciples for Jesus Christ

Operation Christmas Child

Operation Christmas Child brings joy and hope to children in desperate situations worldwide through gift-filled shoe boxes and the Good News of God’s love.

Here are some ways you can make a difference in the lives of those children:

PRAY - Please pray that God will touch the heart of every child who receives a shoe box gift and that He will bring many children and families to faith in Christ.

PACK A GIFT - A shoe box filled with small toys and other gifts can open hurting hearts to God’s love. Click here for an Instructional brochure.  Information can also be found at www.samaritanspurse.org.

GIVE - Please remember to give $7 per box to cover shipping and other project costs.

In 2008 Cressey Road United Methodist Church provided 90 shoebox gifts, over 120 in 2009, and 146 in 2010.  We hope to surpass that mark this year with your help.  Other ways you can help is with wrapping boxes, providing items to be put in the boxes, or helping with shipping funds.  For more information you may contact Etta May Bates at 207-647-3319.
