Gorham Cancer Prayer and Support Group

Location: Cressey Road UMC
Schedule: First Tuesday
Meeting Days: Tuesday
Time: 6:00 PM to 7:30 PM

Cancer can be a lonely thing. Sometimes talking to a friend helps. Our group was started to provide prayer and support to people dealing with cancer.  We meet the first Tuesday of every month at Cressey Road United Methodist Church.

Cancer doesn't discriminate and neither do we.  This group is open to you whether you are involved with a church or not.

A cancer diagnosis can be a frightening thing, If you are looking for a support group in your area or you want to be put on our prayer list we can give you a hand. Click on prayers. Tell us what we can do and we will get back to you. Let us know if we can add your prayer request to our Facebook site.

What People say about a cancer prayer and support group:

"Everyone’s experience with Cancer is so individual. What I have gained through my involvement with our Cancer Prayer and Support Group is common ground. Although we all have our own story of fear, pain and loss; what we share is our faith in the Lord. Our time together, bound together with love and hope, strengthens and rejuvenates the soul."
